Yes – this is 100% Pure Mulberry Silk, not satin or polyester.
Many pillowcases on the market are satin (a synthetic lookalike), but ours are made from genuine Mulberry silk – the gold standard in silk quality. We use Grade 6A, 22 Momme silk, which is the highest quality and most durable silk available.

22 Momme is a measurement of silk weight and density – similar to thread count in cotton.
A higher Momme means a thicker, softer, longer-lasting silk. While 19 Momme is common, 22 Momme offers more durability, smoother texture, and better moisture retention, making it ideal for daily use.

Yes – it's easy to care for!
Handwashing is best, but machine washing is safe if done correctly:

• - Use a cold delicate cycle

• - Place the pillowcase in a mesh laundry bag

• - Use a pH-neutral silk detergent (like Ecostore Woolwash, available in NZ)

• - Air dry in shade – do not tumble dry
