Is this made from real silk or just satin?
Yes – this is 100% Pure Mulberry Silk, not satin or polyester.
Many pillowcases on the market are satin (a synthetic lookalike), but ours are made from genuine Mulberry silk – the gold standard in silk quality. We use Grade 6A, 22 Momme silk, which is the highest quality and most durable silk available.
What is 22 Momme, and why does it matter?
22 Momme is a measurement of silk weight and density – similar to thread count in cotton.
A higher Momme means a thicker, softer, longer-lasting silk. 22 Momme offers durability, smoother texture, and better moisture retention, making it ideal for daily use.
